THINK LOCAL FIRST & WIN We've been out and about delivering flyers to local retailers today, ahead of the #thinklocalfirst photo challenge, which starts 1st July. The general feeling among retailers today was appreciation to us for what we're doing to support the town and county, as well as a nice bit of excitement and enthusiasm. But...This isn't just a campaign with 35,000 flyers going out to homes across the county in support of local, or what our presenters are saying on air to support local, or the Facebook group we started last month, or the photo challenge next week... but we're also doing our bit to buy local wherever we can too. Like today... While we were out delivering flyers, Dave Englefield dropped in to our local insurances brokers, Paul Smith Associates to pick up the certificate, for the new vehicle insured last week and demo how easy it is get involved next week. All you need to do from 1st July is buy locally, take a photo of you with your purchase, tag Sedgemoor fm, and enter the prize draw. We'll draw winners each week, with prizes from wonderful local businesses such as Vodafone UK, Carathea & Jools, and Hays Travel Bridgwater's High Street, plus Timeless Images, Thatchers Cider and more to be announced soon. Support your local Sedgemoor town centre in July and you could WIN! ... See MoreSee Less
